William “Bart” Mason, 46, of Ipswich, former husband of Renee Lee (Grimes) Jepson of Pelham, NH , died Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

Born and raised in Somerville, he was the  son of  Dale (Barton) Mason of Malden and the late William Mason. He is also survived by two daughters, Christina Mason of Pelham, NH, Isabella of Salisbury; a sister Dawn Mason-Zapata of Quincy and one niece and  one nephew.  Employed as a carpenter, he enjoyed amateur boxing and playing hockey.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday March 15 from 4 to 8 pm in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Burial will be private.
