Wanda Marie (Becker) Gelsomini, 69, of Heard Drive, Ipswich,
wife of Nicholas J. Gelsomini, died Saturday May 29, 2010 in the
Beverly Hospital following her sudden illness.
Born in Washington, DC March 11, 1941, daughter of Milton L.
Becker of Fredericksburg, VA and the late Marie (Crissman)
Becker, she was raised in Alexandria and Fairfax, VA where she
graduated public schools. Married 1964 in Alexandria, she was a
former communicant of Sacred Heart Parish of Ipswich and
currently a parishoner of Our Lady of Hope Church in Ipswich.
In addition to her husband of forty-six years she is survived by
three sons, Michael Gelsomini and his wife Sara of Amesbury,
Louis Gelsomini and his wife Kathy of Danvers and Steven
Gelsomini and his wife Marlene of Peabody, and four
grandchildren, Alexandria ,Kyle, Anthony ,and Tysen.
She was the sister of the late Milton Becker, Jr. formerly of
VA.
Her funeral will be held Friday June 4 at 8 am from the
Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich, followed
by a Funeral Mass at 9 am in Our Lady of Hope Church. Linebrook
Road, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.
Visiting hours are Thursday 4 to 8 pm.
