Thelma I. (Cline) Amario, 91, formerly of Town Farm Road, Ipswich
and wife of the late Vito Amario, died Tuesday November 27, 2007 in
the Exeter Hospital following her brief illness.
Born in Haverhill, March 7, 1916 she was the daughter of the late
Clifford and Helen (Potter) Cline. For many years she and her
husband made their home in Ipswich, and she worked for several years
at Sylvania in Ipswich. Following her husband’s death in 1975 she
moved to New Hampshire, and for the past year she lived with her
granddaughter Andrea Aldrovandi in Epsom, NH.
She
had a quick wit and kept her mind sharp by working on crossword
puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She
was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Ipswich .
She
is survived by two sons, William A. St. Laurent of Kingston, NH and
Charles E. St. Laurent of Georgetown; her grandchildren, great
grandchildren, a great great grandchild and many nephews and nieces.
She was the sister of the late Vernon Cline, Robert Cline, Dorothy
Leet and Shirley Amerio, and was also predeceased by an infant
brother, Donald Cline.
Her
funeral will be held Saturday December 1, at 11 am in the
Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St., Ipswich, followed by
interment in the New Highland Cemetery, Ipswich. Family and friends
are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours are Friday 2 to 5 pm.
Memorial contributions in her name have been requested to be made
to a charity of one’s choice.
