Stephen P. Dorman

Stephen P. Dorman, 40, longtime resident of Forest Avenue, Essex, died Monday, May 11, 2015 in the Kaplan Family Hospice, Danvers following his long illness.

Born in Beverly October 5, 1974 son of Clarence N. Dorman of Essex and the late Marion (Crombie) Dorman, he was raised in Essex and was a 1992 graduate of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School. Throughout the years he had been employed on the North Shore and Southern NH as a rug and hardwood floor installer.

Stephen took pride in his physical fitness and enjoyed working out daily at the gym. He enjoyed his motorcycle and his numerous motorcycle camping trips throughout Northern New England.  

In addition to his father he is survived by a daughter, Emily Baker of Hampstead, NH; three brothers, Richard Dorman and his wife Marilyn of Essex, James Dorman and his wife Nancy of Gloucester, and John Dorman and his wife Roberta of Byfield; four nephews and one niece.

His funeral will be held 10 am Friday in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich followed by interment in the Spring Cemetery, Essex.  Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
