Sandra
(Perry) Gaspar, 69, of Ipswich, passed away on January 24, 2017 at
Lahey Clinic in Burlington after a brief illness. She was the wife
of Hubert "Bud" Gaspar, Jr.
Born in
Somerville, she was the daughter of Alvro and Thelma (Daniels)
Perry. She graduated from Somerville High School and later from
Boston State with a degree in Elementary Education and taught first
grade in Somerville. Known as Sandy, Grammie, or Mimi, she was an
avid reader, Boston sports fan, loved her family, and will forever
be missed.
In
addition to her husband with whom she shared forty-three years of
marriage, she is survived by her son Andrew Gaspar and wife Jill;
her daughters, Amylia Pereira and husband Kristopher Siriani, and
Julie-Anne Kenyon and husband Steven; her sisters Doris Condon and
husband David, Susan Curry and husband Richard, and Nancy Ambrose
and husband Clifford; her five grandchildren, Chloe, Russell, Lucas,
Marissa, and Katana; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Saturday,
February 11, 2017, from 10 to 12pm at Whittier-Porter Funeral Home,
6 High St, Ipswich, followed by a Funeral Service at First Church in
Ipswich. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the
First Church in Ipswich, 1 Meetinghouse Green, Ipswich, MA 01938, or
to a charity of one's choice.
