Lori J. (Blanchette) Barth

Lori J. (Blanchette) Barth, 50, beloved daughter of Cynthia M. (Kuc)  Blanchette, and the late Roger D. Blanchette passed away at her mother's home in Ipswich on Friday, December 23, 2016 following a two year battle with ovarian cancer.

Lori was born in Beverly and raised in Ipswich. She was a graduate of Ipswich High School, and went on to further her education at North Shore Community College. Lori had been employed at Gorton's Inc. in Gloucester for the past nine years, and was a resident of Gloucester during this time.

She enjoyed life to the fullest, and was very devoted to her family. They were everything to her, the inspiration for all that she endured during her illness.  Lori enjoyed spending most of her time with her children, grandchildren, and family, they were the love of her life. Lori was a vibrant person with a heart of gold, every moment of life was precious to her. She fought a long and courageous battle against her cancer with strength, and dignity.

In addition to her mother Lori is survived by her loving son Eric S. Barth of Gloucester; her loving daughter, Nichole A. Barth of Rowley and her long time partner John DiMambro, and five beautiful, amazing  grandchildren, Bella Allison,  Kailee Barth and  Aria Barth all of Hamilton, John DiMambro and Sophia DiMambro both of Rowley; a brother, Scott D. Blanchette and his wife Joanne  of Ocoee, Fl; a sister, Michelle L. Harubin and her husband K. Paul  of N.H., and three nephews, Kenneth A. Harubin II; Danielle P. Harubin and  his daughter Emma; Thomas M. Harubin, and his son Jayden, all of N.H., along with many friends and acquaintances. To Lori, her children and grandchildren were everything,' her world', that is what her life was all about. Her family will miss her beyond what any words alone can express, but know that she will be in heaven with her loving father Roger watching over them.

Private arrangements under the direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich. Lori has respectfully requested that family and friends who wish may make a memorial contribution in Lori's name to Ipswich Caring, P.O. Box 584, Ipswich, MA 01938 and, or Wellspring, 302 Essex Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930.
