Joanne Hicks Warner, 79, of Larch
Lane, Wenham and formerly of Burley Street, passed away
peacefully Monday, April 25, 2011 in the Kaplan Family Hospice,
Danvers. She was the wife of Robert L. Warner.
Born in Swampscott September 29,
1931, she was the daughter of the late Leslie R. and Florence L.
(Lacombe) Hicks.
In addition to her husband she is
survived by three sons, Robert L. Warner, Jr. of HI, Joseph L.
Warner and his wife Sandra of Wenham, David J. Warner of Boston;
four daughters Joyce L. Kennedy and her husband Richard of NJ,
Shirley L. Casey and her husband Mark of VA, Lisa R. Warner of
Ipswich and Susanna Acree and her
husband Frank of NC; thirteen grandchildren; four great
grandchildren; a brother Robert B. Hicks and his wife Jane of
Wenham; a sister Francis Whittaker of Ipswich and several nephews
and nieces.
A private service will be held
graveside in the Wenham Cemetery. Arrangements are under the
direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich.
