Gregory Michael Osborne, 44,
passed away Friday March 5,
2010 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Born
December 3,1965
in Beverly, he was raised in Hamilton and had recently moved to
Tennessee to live with his son in Oak Ridge.
Ozzie was a 1984 graduate of
Hamilton Wenham Regional High
School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air
Force where as an Air Traffic Controller he achieved the rank of
Sergeant. After his discharge he worked as a "Tin Knocker" in
the HVAC industry.
He enjoyed reading, writing
poetry, billiards and flying kites. He had an easy smile and a
warm friendly laugh that will be dearly missed by anyone who
ever met him.
He is survived by his son Gregory
Michael Jr, his parents Francis and
Karen Osborne of Hamilton and his two brothers Christopher
Osborne and his wife Deborah of Essex and Mark Osborne and his
wife Mary Beth of Gloucester.
He is also survived by his niece Emily Osborne of Essex, his
nephews Scott Osborne of Middleton and Jonathan Osborne of
Essex, and aunts Connie
Decaro of Gloucester and Joan
Joslin of Ipswich.
His funeral service will be held
Saturday March 13, 11:30 am in
the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street,
Ipswich. Family and friends
respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours will be Friday March 12, 5
to 8 pm.
