Colantoni, 53, of Ipswich, fiancé of
Cynthia Jette, died Sunday July 8, 2012
in the Beverly Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born in
Ipswich May 9, 1959, he was the son of the late Peter and Annie (Maione)
Colantoni. He was raised on Asbury
Street in Hamilton and was a graduate of Hamilton-Wenham High
School. He was employed as a welder at Dalton Electric in Ipswich
for over thirty-five years. He enjoyed spending time tending his
home vegetable and flower gardens, was a terrific cook and loved
preparing Italian specialties for family and friends, and was an
enthusiastic Boston sports fan. He will be remembered as a
soft-spoken gentleman who was loved by all.
In
addition to his fiancé he is survived by her three sons, Steven
Jette of Rockport, and Ryan
Jette and Michael
Jette, both of Ipswich, a granddaughter, Olivia
Jette of Ipswich, his brother, Peter
Colantoni and his sister,
Carolann Bourgalt
and her husband John, all of AZ, and several nieces, nephews and
cousins. He was the brother of the late Diane Colantoni, formerly of
Hamilton.
Visiting
hours are Wednesday 4 to 8 pm in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6
High Street, Ipswich. All other funeral
arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may
make memorial contributions in his name to the American Heart
