Florence L.
(Boudreau) Churchill, 89, longtime resident of High Street, Ipswich,
died Saturday April 23, 2011 in the Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport,
following her brief illness. She was the wife of the late Sheldon S.
Churchill.
Born In Ipswich,
April 1, 1922 daughter of the late Ernest and Myrtle E. (Tibbetts)
Boudreau she was raised in Ipswich where she attended public school.
Mrs. Churchill was employed for over thirty years as a at the former
Quint’s Pharmacy in Ipswich. With a young family she served as a Girl
Scout Leader. She enjoyed knitting, dancing and bowling, having been a
member of the United Shoe Machine Team. She was an avid Red Sox, Bruins,
Celtics and Patriots fan. She also enjoyed many hours watching golf on
television.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy
J. Smith and her husband Edward A. of East Kingston, NH and Elizabeth
LeBoeuf of CO; four grandchildren, Michael S.
Tullercash of Seabrook, NH, Stephen R. Tullercash of FL, Nancy E. Wynot
of CO and Aaron C. Smith of Brooklyn, NY; nine great grandchildren;
three great great grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor Brooks of
Seabrook, NH and Patricia Zervas of Attleboro, and many nephews and
nieces. Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the
Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich. Memorial contributions in her
