Erin C. (Cleary) Perry, 35, of Newbury Road, Ipswich, wife of Michael Perry, died Friday May 8, 2009 in the Lahey Clinic Burlington following her long illness.

Born in Inglewood, CA October 24, 1973, the only child of Brendan O. and Cynthia J. (Cox) Cleary of Ipswich, she was a 1991 graduate of Ipswich High School. Following graduation she went to work as a secretary for the F.B.I. Boston office while attending Newbury College in Boston where she earned an Associate Degree in computer science. During her sixteen years with the F.B.I. she went on to become a training technician and worked with the South East Bomb Task Force in Atlanta, GA.

In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by uncles Brian Cleary of Lynn and Gary Cox of Eugene, OR, and aunts Geri Bittner of Lynnfield and Michaela Geary of Venice, FL.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday (May 13, 2009) 3 to 7 pm in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St., Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Her funeral and disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Ipswich Humane Group, P.O. Box 873, Ipswich, MA 01938.
