Elaine G. (Roberts) Foss
Elaine G. (Roberts) Foss, 90,
of Western Avenue, Essex, and wife of the late Charles W. Foss,
died Monday, January 27, 2020 in the Blueberry Hill Nursing and
Rehabilitation in Beverly.
Born in Wales, ME, April 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Raymond
and Doris (Hale) Roberts.
Elaine spent many years working as a
secretary and receptionist at Beverly Hospital and Suncoast Hospital.
Along with Chuck, they enjoyed their retirement in St. Petersburg, FL. In
recent years, they returned to Essex to reside with their Grandson, Sean
and his family.
Elaine enjoyed crafting. She was
known for her beautiful wreaths that she made for family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Catherine Willis
of Concord, NH; three grandchildren, Sean Reed of Essex; Kellie Denoncourt
and Sally Small both of NH, a brother, Larry Roberts of ME, twelve great
grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband of sixty-four years, she was predeceased by her
daughter, Candace (Foss) Behringer.
