Edward A. Klimaseski

Edward A. Klimaseski, 84, husband of Frieda A. (Mackiewicz) Klimaseski, longtime of Perley Avenue, Ipswich, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 in the Beverly Hospital following his long illness.

Born in Ipswich June 15, 1928, son of the late Stanley and Pauline (Kaledowka) Klimaseski, he was raised in Ipswich and was a graduate of the Beverly Trade School. As a young man he served an enlistment post war in the Navy. Following his honorable discharge he entered the Army, serving in Korea, and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. Married  1952 in the former Sacred Heart Church, the Klimaseskis built their home and raised their family on Perley Avenue.  For fifty-five devoted years he was employed  as a tool designer at United Shoe Machine in Beverly.  Mr. Klimaseski  was a proud member of the Ipswich V.F.W. Post #1093, P.L.A.V. Post #92,  AMVETS Post #201 and the Our Lady of Hope Parish.

In addition to his wife of sixty years he is survived by two sons, Brian F Klimaseski of Brooklin, NY and Craig E. Klimaseski of Ipswich and two grandchildren, Stephanie and Jason Klimaseski both of NY.

His funeral service will be held  Tuesday, July 3, at 11 am  in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich, with an hour of visitation preceding the service. Interment  with Military Honors will follow in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.
