Daniel R. Boutchie

Daniel R. Boutchie, 41, husband of Jennifer A. (Campbell) Boutchie of Georgetown, died Monday, October 19, 2015 in Ashville, NC.

Born in Beverly July 27, 1974 son of Virginia “Ginny” (Stevens) Boutchie Antell of Gloucester and the late Glenn C. Boutchie formerly of Essex, he was raised and educated in Essex and was a graduate of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School and  Bridgewater State College with a BS in Communications. Dan had been employed at the Village Restaurant, Essex Fire Department, Ebsco Publishing and most recently employed at New England Journal of Medicine.  Dan's passion in life includes music, having been a part of Exclusive (his High School Band), Georgetown Fats and the Growlers, and the Boston Blues Society. He also had a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate. Dan was a kind hearted person who enjoyed helping others in need by being an EMT and a Big Brother.

He told his father after his first date with Jen that he was going to marry that girl! 

He was absolutely certain that his daughter Riley Anne Boutchie was his best idea ever! 

In addition to his wife, Jennifer of fifteen years and his daughter, Riley Anne Boutchie of Georgetown, he is survived by his mother, Ginny Antell, and her husband, Michael; a brother, Glenn C. Boutchie and his wife Sharon of Danvers; his grandmother Agnes Stevens; his in-laws, Karen and Archie Campbell of Hamilton, Meredith Campbell Graham and her husband Jon; his aunts, Barbara Carter, Patricia Carter, Kathleen Ricci, Audrey Francis and The Stevens sisters, Dottie, Joanie, Cheryl, Kathy, Bobbie, and Patty and their families; his Uncles Dana Carter, Richard Carter and Gary Boutchie and his three nieces Julia (Skippy) Boutchie, Jessica (BooBoo) Boutchie and  Rebecca (Becky) Graham. 

A memorial reception service will be held 11 am, Monday, October 26, in The Essex Room at  Woodmans, 125 Main St., Essex. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.
