Catherine M. “Kay” (Holland) Spiers

Catherine M. “Kay” (Holland) Spiers, 96, beloved wife of the late William L. Spiers, Jr., longtime of Lexington, died April 6, 2010 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the mother of Richard E. Spiers and his late wife Louise M. of Mashpee, William H. Spiers of Venice, FL; the late Stephen A. Spiers of Lexington, Katherine C. Aurelio and her husband Louis of Ipswich, and Leslie A. Spiers of Rockland, ME;  “Kay” is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Saturday 11:30 am in St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1979 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Lexington. Arrangements under the direction of the Whittier-porter Funeral Home of Ipswich. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
