Beverly A. (Densmore) Kumph

Beverly A. (Densmore) Kumph, 73, wife of David G. Kumph of Arrowhead Trail, Ipswich, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 in her home surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.

Born in Cambridge July 29, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret (Frize) Densmore. Raised in Allston she  was  a graduate of Brighton High School and  the North Shore Community College.

Beverly was a woman of strong faith and a devoted and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed time in her garden and by the ocean with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband of fifty-three years she is survived by a son, Kenneth A. Kumph and his wife Lisa of Georgetown; two daughters, Christine M. Selvo and Brian Wright of Ipswich, Lynne M. Rocco and her husband Andrew of Lynn; seven grandchildren, Stephen Sweet of Gloucester, Jacqueline, Matthew and Benjamin Kumph all of Georgetown, Kody Selvo of Ipswich, Zachary and Jacob Rocco both of Lynn; a brother, Howard Densmore of Marshfield; a sister Dorothy Caterino of Tewksbury and many nephews and nieces. She was the mother of the late infant Kimberly Kumph.

Family and friends are respectfully welcomed to visiting hours Sunday September 9, from 1 to 5 pm in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich. Her funeral service will be private.
