Anita Marie (Pacione)
Evetts, 51, wife of Kriss D. Evetts, of
Bridge
Street, South Hamilton, died Sunday morning,
September 27th
2009
with her loving husband and daughter Anna by her side at the Kaplan
Family Hospice Center in Danvers.
Anita had
been a resident of
Hamilton
since 2000 where she resided with her husband Kriss and her daughter
Anna Ellen Tebbutt Evetts who is now a junior film student at Pratt
Institute in Brooklyn New York.
Born on
March
19, 1958
in
Baltimore,
Anita was the daughter of Mary Louise (Cellitto) Pacione and
the late Primo Pacione. A graduate of Catholic University of America in
1980, she worked as a theater performer supporting the troops in
Europe
and
Iceland.
Anita had her
daughter, Anna Ellen Tebbutt in1989 with her late husband Mark Tebbutt
while they lived in Great Bentley,
England where
Anita worked as the Arts Coordinator for the Essex County Council in
Colchester England.
Anita married
Kriss Evetts in 2000 and moved to
South
Hamilton, Massachusetts that same year. She has worked for the
Hamilton
Wenham Regional School District since 2005 as a teaching assistant and
second grade teacher at Cutler Elementary School. Most recently, she
graduated with her Masters in Education from Gordon College in May
2009. She was a teacher and an artist whose cooking and entertaining
delighted many. But her greatest skill was bringing people together far
and wide.
In addition
to her husband Kriss, her daughter Anna Ellen Tebbutt Evetts, and her
mother, Mary Louise Pacione-Schulmeyer and husband Ray of Bel Air MD,
she is survived by brothers and sisters Mark and Carol Pacione of
Fallston, MD, Jeff and Sharon Pacione of Wenham, Christopher and
Jennifer Pacione of Pittsburgh, PA., Sarah and John Kennedy of Nelson,
NZ, Nikki and Nick French of London, England, Mark and Penny Evetts of
Oben, Scotland, Dee Evetts of Winchester, Rosemary Evetts of Cambridge,
England and mother in laws and father-in-law, Hilda Schouten- Evetts of
Hatfield Peverel, Essex, England and Jan and Bob Tebbutt of Nelson, New
Zealand.
She was the
sister-in-law of the late Jan Evetts of
Cambridge,
England and Sarah Offerd of Ipswich, England.
A private
funeral service will be held for family and close friends Wednesday
Sept. 30, graveside in the Cedar Brook Burial Ground,
Limington,
Maine. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Thursday October 1, at
10:00
am in St. Pauls Church, 50 Union Street, South Hamilton, followed by a
Celebration of Anita Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at the Hellenic
Center, 117 County Road Route 1A, Ipswich, Massachusetts 01938. All are
welcome. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Anna’s
College Supply Fund, c/o Salem Five Bank, 2 Bay Road, Hamilton, MA
01982.
