Mildred A. (Swiszcz) Frydrych, 93, of Ipswich, passed away
peacefully on August 17, 2008 at Beverly Hospital following a
brief illness. She was the loving and devoted wife of Michael
Frydrych with whom she shared 66 happy years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Paul
Frydrych of Ipswich, Melvyn Frydrych of Cumberland, RI and
Theodore Frydrych and his wife Sheryl of Boothbay, ME, and a
daughter, Andrea Frydrych of Ipswich. She was blessed with four
grandchildren, Kristen Ray, Mary Ray, Michael Frydrych and Bryan
Frydrych. She also leaves five great-grandchildren, Jake, Brady
and Maggie Ray as well as Andrew and Aiden Ray, who brought
great joy to her life.
Mrs Frydrych was born on April 12, 1915 in Manchester, NH, was
raised in Lawrence and moved to Ipswich upon her marriage. She
was a proud graduate of the Lawrence General Hospital School of
Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for a number of years.
She was a talented seamstress who very much enjoyed sewing. Her
other hobbies included cooking, reading and knitting. She was a
member of Our Lady of Hope Parish and the former Sacred Heart
Church in Ipswich.
Mrs Frydrych will be greatly missed by her family, friends and
neighbors.
Services will be private at the request of the family with
arrangements by the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich.
